The bag seems well constructed and I like the gray color, but I think it's very overpriced for the features. I want a messenger bag for carrying a smaller amount of gear for short urban trips. The bag is nice but this mini version, while about the size I was looking for, has many fewer pockets than the next size, which would be way bigger than what I want. Wish there was something in between, but with the extra pockets found in the "small" size bag.

Trying to decide whether to return it or not. There is a Tamrac messenger in between the Tenba mini and small sizes, but I love the color choices & style the Tenba Messengers. Why is it so hard to find the "perfect" bag for each occasion?

Purchased this bag to hold my D80 and 2 lens and my ipad. Everything fits perfect and the bag is comfy. Lots of support and a ton of pockets for anything you could think of. This will be my bag of choice for a while.

I like this bag minus a few caveats: It is really designed to hold 1 camera with lenses and accessories with a small laptop/netbook or iPad. I use this with 2 cameras and a flash and an iPad and it manages it well (one does have to flip the hand grips towards the center to fit 2 cameras).

The padding is nice. I can wear the bag and it doesn't cause any sorness to my hip. Its really soft and kinda feels like something's hugging you. The strap is good enough, but does make your shoulder sore (I wish it was a little wider) and the bag's fabric feels durable. The zippers are of quality and you can sense a secure, strong hold. The handle has foam and feels a little flimsy but its designed that if you didn't clip/velcro the top down your stuff shouldn't fall out unless it wasn't put in fully.

Cons: I find the two zippers on the front flap rather useless. Yes you get 2 more pockets but they're "flat" pockets so maybe you can put your receipts, a girl's phone number, or maybe some pocket change (but you're surely be digging to get it out. Many of the extra compartments I find rather useless as the bag is designed to be compact but full of compartments. Well those compartments are for flat items and one can store only so much. I like my memory cards in one small memory card wallet and so 1 pocket is good enough.

The "secret access" top zipper is nice when you dont want to open up the bag and cause a lot of noise. I would like to see velcro silencers similar to the ones on Crumpler bags instead of the extra compartments (especially the ones on the flap).

My main gripe (cause compartments can become useful... but they dont hinder my appreciation and kinda make the boring bag look more utilitarian) is that the fabric (I got black) attracts lint like crazy. The bag looks really dusty all the time and I wish I got the platinum bag cause at least the grey lint would be stuck on grey fabric (why is the platinum more expensive? beats me).
