I ordered a few of these. When I got them, one of the humidifiers was broken open inside the box. The gel was all over the inside, there was no way to just scoop it all back up and put it back in the container. Outside of that, they seem to be working well so far. Humidity level is about where it should be and I haven't had any problems with mold or anything like that as of right now.

I found black colored mold inside the jar after less than a month of use. I don't care how the humidity is if it's putting mold in my cigars, it's got to go.

excellent product, really easy to use and avoids the mess and hassle of refilling the water in a sponge that dries too fast. Add a shot of some distilled water ($1 for a Gallon from Ralphs) and the gel will rise over a few hours as it absorbs the water then will start to release the moisture over the course of a month or so. I'd check it weekly to make sure.
